Study Abroad: Buying Cheap Flights
October 27, 2012 | by

One of the best benefits to studying abroad is getting the opportunity to travel and become a sophisticated co-ed. Traveling outside the United States is much different and CL wants to make sure you’re confident about your flights. Cheap flights are awesome, but cheap flights also mean no complimentary food and no free checked bags. To make sure you get the best deal on flights while abroad, CL researched some airlines for you! Remember the earlier you book, the cheaper flights will be. Don’t forget to check these airlines specific carry- on dimensions and weights because a cheap flight can turn into an expensive fee if you do not follow their terms.

Traveling in Europe
RyanAir- Flights are noisy and cramped, but the prices are the best!
EasyJet- Better then RyanAir, but sometimes not as cheap.
Vueling- One of the best cheap airlines, but not as many destinations.
AirBerlin- Mixed reviews, but overall seems to be one of the better options.

Traveling in Asia
JetLite- Highly recommended by majority of customers.
SpringAirlines- Not one bad review!
Skymark Airlines (domestic)
Cebu Pacific (international)
Air Asia- Very few bad ratings, seems like a great option!

Traveling in Australia
Qantas- Not cheap, but extremely luxurious for the long hall down under.
JetStar- Qantas’s baby brother airline with great deals on flights!
Air Pacific- Terrible reviews!!!!
