WHY IS MATT A CLASSY GENTLEMAN? As stated by nominee Sarah Gooch, ‘Matt is currently the Internal Vice President of my business fraternity, Phi Beta Lambda, and has been for the past two years! He puts everything into the growth of our fraternity and personal/professional growth of each and every one of our members. Along with helping to run PBL, he has also been an intern for Altria Group, Inc for the past two years. He has already been offered and is ready to begin a full-time position with Altria post-graduation! As if this isn’t enough work for Matt, he also is a local talent manager in State College and represents two bands along the East Coast. He enjoys attending local concerts and searching for even more talent! His hobbies include running and backpacking, he has backpacked through 15 different states. His love for backpacking probably came from the fact he is an Eagle Scout, which is quite prestigious! Matt lives by the motto “Carpe Diem” and always ensures that everyone he is around is making the best out of every day.
I could NOT think of a better candidate for Classy Gentleman than Matt. Professional, I’d be nowhere without his guidance! He is my go-to person for everything from resumes to even small details of business professional dress! I even spoke with him before my phone interview with CL about phone interview tips because it was my first!
He always says “My success comes from helping others” and honestly he has helped me to attain every internship that I have today, which I view as my success!”
