DIY: Five Halloween Recipes

Classy co-eds love all things Halloween, especially Halloween décor, Halloween cupcakes and Halloween costumes for sorority ladies. Classy co-eds also love quick, healthy affordable recipes. Read these top five Halloween snacks, perfect for your Halloween party.

This pumpkin shaped veggie tray is super easy to make. Simply place baby carrots in the shape of a pumpkin, add some broccoli to the top for the stem and fill in the eyes and mouth with olives or cups of ranch dip. It’ll be festive and very healthy!

Use Alfredo sauce to create a spider web design on a red sauce pizza. Use an olive for the spider’s body and voila! Halloween themed pizza is sure to be a favorite in the college scene.

Roll the bread dough into the shape of bones and sprinkle with salt. After about 12 minutes in the oven, they will be golden brown and ready for your appetizer table.

This recipe is a fantastic roomie bonding experience. Mix up cheeses, chill, then roll into several balls and decorate. Tortilla chips are useful for the bat “ears.”

Mix up popcorn, nuts, dried fruit and a small amount of M&Ms for a definite crowd pleaser. This Halloween trail mix is a great snack to munch on during your costume party.
