Can’t ever seem to find that perfect pair of shorts? Try some of these styles for a figure flattering shape.

1. Lean Figure

The scalloped edges on these shorts give shape to lean legs. Not to forget, this style is one of the latest summer trends!

2. Tall and Thin

The rolled up, or cuffed, shorts add some volume to long and lean legs. The front pockets on these shorts also add volume and visual interest to the lean figure.

3. Curvy or Pear-Shaped Figure

High-waisted shorts work best on a curvier figure; however can be flattering on most body styles. The defined waist and fuller legs can help disguise wider hips. On a curvier figure, look for these shorts in a looser fitting fabric like linen or cotton. The way the fabric flows away from the body will help create more definition in the waist.

4. Long Legs or Curvy Legs

Bermuda shorts work great for long legs! Visually speaking, they help to break up the leg, creating a more proportional figure. For curvy legs, Bermuda shorts work perfectly to conceal any undesired curviness. A wide leg Bermuda short is most flattering on curvier legs.

5. Petite Frame

Short shorts or classy cutoffs work perfectly on a petite frame. The short inseam helps to lengthen the line of the leg.

6. Every Figure

Midi shorts work well on every figure. These shorts should hit about mid thigh, though not as long as Bermuda shorts. For curvier legs, look for a wider leg. For leaner legs, look for a slimmer leg.

Summer may come to an end, but the season for shorts carries over into the fall and winter! Keep your shorts at the front of your wardrobe to pair with some tights when cold weather rushes in!
