CL’s How to DIY Glitz Party

It’s almost New Year’s Eve – do you know where your party is? How about planning your own? Follow these simple tips and CL will have you glitzed out and ready to party this New Year’s Eve.

How to Decorate:

For a centerpiece, put glitter covered and/or shiny ornaments in a glass bowl or on tiered platters. You can also do this with glitter covered pine cones, or a mix of pine cones and ornaments. Fill vases around the room with fake, shiny poinsettias. You can either make or buy the pine cones and poinsettias. To make the pine cones, first dip them in glue, let drip, and then sprinkle on glitter. For the poinsettias, dab glue, then sprinkle glitter. Place glitter candles around the center piece and the poinsettia vases. Tie some New Year’s balloons to a few chairs, lay out a white table cloth with a sparkly table runner, and you’re ready to lay out the shiny silverware! The décor can be in any colors you like – just as long as it’s shiny!

CL Quick Tip: Add mirrors around the room for some extra light and sparkle – plus, mirrors make any room look bigger!
