Toward the end of the semester it can be hard to find time to relax. Here are some tips for beating the stress and getting through you finals. Gather your supplies and enjoy!
Aromatic shower bombs: Getting up and going to the library to write a paper is the last thing you want to do after a night of studying. These wonderful things will melt in your shower, emitting a scent that will have you hopping to the library in no time…just don’t forget to grab coffee for when the grapefruit scent wears off!
(Try these from LUSH)
Lotion and thick socks: Let’s face it, feet generally aren’t as pretty in winter; Hiding within shoes and subjected to the elements they can get kind of gross! An easy way to perk yourself up after a long day is to massage lotion into your feet and put on socks. Leave them on overnight and when you wake up in the morning you’ll have soft feet!
(These festive sock-slippers from Forever 21 would fit the bill!)
Scented Candles: Nothing perks up your mood quite like your favorite scent! Maybe it’s pumpkin pie or maybe it’s vanilla, either way places like Bath and Body Works have you covered. Be a savvy shopper and use online coupons for Bath and Body Works. Light the candle and feel the stress melt away.

Sparkly Nail Polish: A cheap pampering treatment, painting your nails will give you some time to chill out and the peppy sparkles will make reviewing flashcards a little more fun! Because you can’t be writing a paper while the polish dries it’s a great time to sneak in an episode of Grey’s Anatomy or Gossip Girl–Ah, finals bliss!
(This silver nail polish from Target has just the right amount of sparkle!)
I hope the suggestions above will make your finals week a little less painful! Let me know in the comments below if you have any other de-stressing tips!
