12/7 is College Lifestyles Text Sweet Messages (TSM) Day! TSM is our way of sending messages of love, hope, and strength to the ones we love and care about! How can you participate in our campaign? Easy – pull out your cell phone and text sweet messages on 12/7 (and any other day!). Share the love!
College Lifestyles has resources for sororities and high schools to implement their own TSM Campaign program; as well as our own Facebook event! (Join here!)
As College Lifestyles prepares for our TSM (text sweet messages) day on 12/7; the classy College Lifestyle interns reflect why this campaign is so important!
I think that TSM is important because our generation is known for constantly using technology. TSM is a way to show that we are using technology as a positive thing. On top of that, you never know when something as a kind text message could brighten someone’s day. TSM is a great way to help brighten everyone’s day.
~Alyssa
I feel that TSM is so important because you never know what the people you care about are dealing with on a day to day basis. Something small, like a text message, may not seem like much, but it could be enough to turn their whole day around!
~Dana
I believe the TSM Campaign is important because we often get caught up in the stresses of everyday life but a simple text message to show you care can brighten somebody’s whole day!
~Christine K
I feel TSM is important because everyone could use a pick me up every now and then! Plus, it is easy to do and will make you feel good too
~Leslie C
I think that TSM is important because we don’t always tell people how much we care about them. Texting a Sweet Message to someone makes others feel good or brightens their day but it also makes the sender feel good that they made someone’s day. With all the bullying that has been occurring lately I feel that it is important to show people that we are thinking about them and that we care for the deeply even if we don’t say it everyday.
~Steph C
TSM is so important because everyone needs some kindness in his or her day! It is a nice feeling to know that someone is thinking about you and cares enough to send a message wishing you a fabulous day, good luck on a test, or just a smile. We should all be spreading the love, one text at a time.
<3 Becky
TSM is so important because we all send so many text messages a day, but how many of them are meant to make someone’s day? If we can all send just one sweet message a day, everyone could be so much happier!
~:), Kaitlyn
TSM is important because positive energy is contagious! Since misery loves company, keeping every young classy co-ed smiling from a sweet text message would be the easiest way to prevent bad company.
~Sara N
Being able to brighten up someone’s day is invaluable. You never know who might be having an awful time and need that extra push to get through a study session, a break up or an awful fight!
~Alexandra P
Because it is one way to inspire others to leave a positive impression those around them.
~Kristin S
It’s important because it’s like a smile, just a little thing can go a long way
~Audrey W
TSM is important because it uses existing technology with a new, positive purpose.
~Mere T
It’s the little things in life that can make or break someone’s day. So why not go out of our way, with just the teensiest bit of effort, to be the one to brighten a day, lift a mood, or bring a smile to someone special’s face? TSM is a simple way to send love. And ladies, the more love you send, the more you will one day receive! So get out your phone and start texting!!
~Maryn
TSM is important because sweet messages interrupting my hectic, stress-filled days help to to re-focus and center myself on what’s truly important!
~Kelsey
It can bring a little sunshine to anyone’s day… And we can always use sweet encouragement!
~Abby
