6. Gather all of your scholarship and loan information in one place. Chances are with the rising cost of college you’ve applied for some loans and scholarships. Make sure you keep all of this information together and organized. Most scholarships ask the same questions and when you’ve written on essay it’s much easier to tailor it for other applications. Also, note deadlines for future loans and scholarships on your calendar—you don’t want to miss an opportunity because you forgot!
7. Make a budget. By now you should know approximately how much you will be making at your campus job—adjust your budget accordingly. Don’t forget to factor in buying birthday and Christmas gifts!
8. Update your resume. Include anything you did this summer in your resume. If you have a new campus job, list this on your resume as well.
9. Start going to the gym. The excuse “I just moved in and I’m getting adjusted” doesn’t cut it anymore. Get into a routine of working out at least a few times a week—you will have more energy to do the things you love AND you’ll be healthier!
10. Make sure you are on track with your class selections. Have you fulfilled all of the general education requirements for your program? Are you starting your major classes? If you’re not, it’s probably not too late to drop/add a class.
